Posted 4/6/2024 Chipping Out Tile Before Pumping Up The Floor. New Concrete Will Be Poured in the Compactor Room and Garage Floor Surrounding the Garage Lobby.

Very Uneven Floor With Major Settling.

Large Gap From Settling.  The Other Side of That Wall Is The Garbage Compactor Room Which Will Have New Concrete Poured In A Couple Of Weeks.

Many Gaps Under Tiles Throughout The Floor.

Notice The Height Difference Of The Floor and Walls.  It’s a Little Deceiving Since The Wall Has Settled Also.

From Left To Right Is How Much The Floor Has Settled. The Large Black Line Area Is a Patch That Was Used Instead Of Fixing The Large and Deep Crack Of The Sinking Floor.  The Floor Has Settled Over The Years With Patching Done and There is Definitely a Slope From Left to Right.  The Tile On The Right Had Very Thick Leveler To Make Up The Difference Of The Uneven Sinking Floor.  When This Tile Was Installed The Settling & Cracks Were Not Addressed, Instead A Patch and Leveler Was Used.  All The Issues With That Floor Will Be Addressed When It Is Pumped Up.

The Tape Measure Says It All.  This Photo Was Taken Of The Left Back Corner Coming Out Of The Elevator.

This Settling Photo Is On The Left Wall Corner Going Out The Sliding Door.  I Was The Clean Up Girl and Helped With Traffic Control So There Was No Need To Shut Down The Elevator.  The Project Ran Pretty Smooth.  And Yes, I Did It In Flip Flops.  Hahaha

4/18/2024 The Drill Was About The Size Of A Dime. Project Went Well & Was On Time.  After The New Concrete Is Poured In The Compactor Room, The Garage Lobby With Be Worked On.

8/22/2024 Now That The Busy Season Has Slowed Down, Work Continues On The Garage Lobby.  Furring Strips Going Up First Then Shiplap and Lighting. The Ceiling and Floor Will Follow. The Room Will Be Painted The Same Color, Agreeable Gray With a White Ceiling. There Will Be A New Cold Air Return and New Lights.  We’re Hoping To Use The Bench That Was In The Lobby To Avoid People Leaving Carts In There.  The Bench Was Stained Gray.

9/6/2024 A Picture Will Go Above The Repurposed Bench With A Side Table.  The Tree Came From One Of Our Floors.  There Will Be Another Picture In The Hallway Going To The Steps.  One Of Our Owners, Jamie, Is Painting And Donating The Artwork.  Thanks Jamie

9/14/2024  There Will Be A Cart Caddy Built Outside The Lobby In The Garage To Store The Carts.  So Far Most People Have Put The Carts Back In The Garage Where The Cart Stops Are Now.

9/14/2024  Garage Lobby Finished! Jamie Is Painting A Picture To Go In The Hallway To The Steps & There Will Be A Seashell On The Table With The Blue Color To Match The Painting.  They Will Finish Everything Off.  New Lights, Floor, Walls/Shiplap, Refinished Bench That Was In Our Front Lobby, Tree Came From One Of Our Floors and Walls & Ceiling Painted.  The Table & Picture Are All Fastened Down So No one Walks Away With Them & Will Do The Same For The Seashell.  So Glad It’s Done.  It’s Very Hard Working Around People, Carts Going In & Out and Working Around The Busy Season.  This Was A HUGE Transformation & So Glad The Owners Like It With All The Positive Comments We Are Hearing.
