16th Annual Surfside Rotary Turkey Trot
Surfside Pier, Surfside Drive and Ocean Boulevard
November 27, 2025
The 16th Annual Surfside Rotary Turkey Trot is one of the area’s largest annual races. The race benefits the Surfside Beach Rotary Club, and participants can opt to run a 10K, 5K or 1-mile race. Also, kids run for free in the one-mile fun run!

19th Annual Myrtle Beach Turkey Trot
Valor Park at The Market Common
November 27, 2024 | 8 to 10:00 am
Starting and finishing at the beautiful Valor Park in Market Common, the money raised from this race will be donated to a local non-profit, Help 4 Kids. Participants can register to run an 8K, 5K or 1-mile race, and again, there is a free trot for the kids.

39th Annual Intracoastal Christmas Regatta
Intracoastal Waterway from Little River to Dock Holidays Marina

Each year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, the curtain rises on this spectacular maritime Christmas boat parade. Gather your family and watch the parade as it passes various viewing areas along the waterway from Little River to Dock Holidays Marina.

Chef Ted and Ervin have created a one-of-a-kind menu featuring Hammock Classic Grilled Meatloaf with honey BBQ sauce, lemon dill salmon, beef tenderloin, and more. 

The Hangout

From 11-4 pm

The Hangout located in Broadway at the Beach is offering a family-style Thanksgiving meal. Dishes include candied bacon deviled eggs, and southern-style sweet potato casserole.  Reservations suggested. 

Chestnut Hill Restaurant

From 11-6 pm

Chestnut Hill is hosting a buffet with traditional favorites, including southern classics and seafood options. 

Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen

Paula Deen’s is offering a Southern Meal with pickups on Tuesday and Wednesday between 11 am and 5 pm before Thanksgiving Day.

House of Blues

Open for Brunch and Dinner

The House of Blues in Barefoot Landing is offering a family-style buffet.

The Brentwood Restaurant and Wine Bistro

The Brentwood is offering their Thanksgiving Day Dinner served family-style with all the turkey day favorites.

Wahoo’s Fish House

Open 11-5 pm

Located in Murrells Inlet on the MarshWalk will be serving seafood and traditional Thanksgiving buffet meals.
