Myrtle Beach starts to wind down Labor Day weekend. The crowds are smaller, kids are back in school but the weather is great. Here are a few Labor Day Weekend events to consider.
Myrtle Beach Mustang Week
Mustang Week, a celebration of Ford’s most famous sports car, has grown into a gathering of hundreds of owners and enthusiasts who visit the area each year for one of the biggest car show events in Myrtle Beach.
Now in its 20th year, Mustang Week includes a variety of events taking place all over the area. Scheduled events so far include:

- Monday – Kickoff party at Hard Rock Cafe
- Tuesday – Meet-and-greet at Broadway at the Beach in the parking lot
- Wednesday – Autocross and drift demos at the former Freestyle Park amusement park at Fantasy Harbour
- Thursday – Test N Tune drag event at Darlington
- Friday – Car show and cruise-in at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center

Myrtle Beach Labor Day Weekend Fireworks
The night sky will fill with throughout Labor Day weekend with special firework displays and one last hurrah for the summer:
Barefoot Landing – Saturday, September 4 at 10 pm
Broadway at the Beach – Sunday, September 5 at 10 pm
Broadway at the Beach Live Music & Entertainment
Say goodbye to summer with one last bash at Broadway at the Beach. Labor Day Weekend includes live music at Bar Louie, live musician on Saturday, September 4th from 7 to 9 p.m., plus strolling character appearances, LED dancers, and more!
